About

our MISSION

At Play on Speech Therapy, it is our mission to provide compassionate, community-based care for children and their families. We celebrate every child's unique gifts and are dedicated to helping all children reach their full potential. By building a trusting relationship with the children and families we serve, we create a space where children feel safe to try new things and find joy in the learning process.

STEPHANIE KASIK, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from Miami University (in Ohio) and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of South Florida. Prior to starting Play on Speech Therapy, Stephanie gained extensive experience working with children in the hospital, private practice, and early intervention settings. With over 10 years of pediatric speech therapy experience, Stephanie remains committed to ongoing education and training in the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.

Stephanie takes a collaborative approach to therapy by partnering with parents and caregivers to deliver therapy that is meaningful to both the child and the family. She is dedicated to understanding what makes each child excited to try new things and works to create a welcoming environment where her clients are engaged in the learning process.

Stephanie is also a mother to two young children and understands what it is like to have questions about child development. Through parent education, she ensures parents feel supported and understood throughout the therapy process.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys walks with her family, crafting with her kids, staying active, and supporting her community.
